The K1 is designed for general purpose computing needs, and is a great starting point for initial hybrid cloud deployments. Greenfield applications, dev environments, CMS, and entry-level VDI are ideal on K1.

The K2 is designed for entry-level scale-out storage, high-performance databases, big data, and data-heavy web applications. Legacy SAN can be replaced with K2 clusters.

The K3 is designed for dense storage requirements, and provides high IOPS capacity for applications such as Hadoop, Spark, and enterprise search engines. The K3 is also ideal for data warehousing, dense VDI and SAN replacements.
